Young'uns Today and Money

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

Today is a whole new world when it comes to managing finances at an early age. When I was a child the family finances were not things that were discussed with kids. Children were to be seen and not heard. I know that my mother--and she still is this way today--kept everyting a secret. She purposely would not tell you anything like she had so much. Finances were not discussed, budgets, assests. None of the things that rule the world now. So I grew up with not a clue about money and sure enought when I got on my own back in my early 20's things headed south pretty quickly. I really think she did me a disservice by not teaching me how important it was to manage your money. I think that this is a trend in the black community stemming from our beginnings as slaves. We had nothing and we were so out of the mainstream due to Jim Crow and oppression, it was hard. Being in the money or in the know about money was not our history.

Today things are different. We have a chance to teach our kids how important financial stability is. If you are messed up with bad credit, you are hindered when it comes go getting loans for homes, mortgages and cars. The very first thing young adults get is a car to get around and with that comes the need to have car insurance. I remember my first car. My parents co-signed and I paid for most of it. When I got into trouble they had to bale me out.

Through lots of trials and errors I have found my way financially. Thank god because having no money in a bank account is no fun. An I am talking about the checking and not the savings. Savings account was gravy after all the financial upheavals got worked out. Now I have lots of plastic and have put myself into credit card hell this past christmas. I am working to get rid of that debt. Having a sound financial future is very important. It paves your way through life and the life of your children. If you get that straight, all the other things your might have to deal with may seem small and manageable.

Here is a stress management technique recommended in all the latest psychological texts. The funny thing is that it works.

1. Picture yourself near a stream.

2. Birds are softly chirping in the cool mountain air.

3. No one knows your secret place.

4. You are in total seclusion from the hectic place called the world.

5. The soothing sound of a gentle waterfall fills the air with a cascade of serenity.

6. The water is crystal clear.

7. You can easily make out the face of the person you are holding

Days of our Lives

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

I have not been a soap fan in recent years mainly because I work during the day time and never get to see any soaps. When I was in college I used to watch General Hospital. That was during the time when it seemed that the entire world was watching Luke and Laura..that whole wedding and rape scenario. Ages ago. Now the few times I might have been channel surfing, the story line of Luke and Laura still lives on, 20 years or more later. I bet that is the way it is with all the soap operas, including Days of our Lives.

If you are following Days of our Lives and you miss an episode, on Saop.com you have a way to keep up with the daily updates. Just keep this page in your favorites and get the daily scoop on your characters, show episodes and things to come (spoilers). There is even a gallery where you can save pictures of your favorite starts. Using the site is free so sign up and keep up with the soap buzz! There is even a forum that you can register and then network with other fans of the show. That is a great place to discuss what is happening or speculate on what is to come. You will even make some great friends along the way who have the same likes as you...Days of Our Lives.

Falling From The Curb

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

Bobby Brown is now going to head on the way down. He was already on the curb as far as carreer height. Now with the divorce from Whitney, he can only go so low. He is now in jail for non payment of his child support. I know that his reality show was not picked up again so it has been cancelled. He had better get it together. He needs to either put together a new album, if that is even possible or he needs to start looking into the business side of the music industry. Well, with his reputation that might not work either. Who would want to back him? I only hope that he did not blow all the money. Let's hope he has enough to live off for himself. He is just another star falling from the curb.

--------------------
Singer Bobby Brown was ordered on Monday to remain in a Norfolk County jail until he paid $19,000 in late child support and court fees, his lawyer said.

"We're diligently working on getting those funds available from outside sources," said Phaedra Parks, an attorney in Atlanta where Brown currently lives. Parks doubted Brown would get out of jail before Tuesday morning.

Parks said the rhythm and blues singer has been struggling to meet monthly payments to Kim Ward, of Stoughton, the mother of two of his children.

"Although this agreement was put in place when he was Bobby Brown the star, this agreement is being enforced when he is not always able to find work," Parks told The Associated Press. "He hasn't made an album in quite some years."

A judge in Norfolk Probate and Family Court ordered Brown held in the county jail in Dedham on Monday, one day after private constables arrested the singer while he was watching his daughter's cheerleading competition at Attleboro High School.

Authorities said Brown was served with an arrest warrant for failing to appear at a child support hearing in October.

In October, Brown paid $11,000 in delinquent child support after being threatened with arrest if he stepped back into Massachusetts. He owed more than two months' worth of payments to Ward.

Loomis said Brown was cooperative at the high school arrest, and borrowed a cell phone to arrange to get out of jail.

One Account

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

Now this is a different idea...one that I had not heard of before. One Account combines mortgages with your salary. This combination actually brings together your mortgage, current account, savings, loans and credit cards. Your money work harders and reduces the amount of interest you pay on your borrowing. You might think that it might be confusing to keep up with everything on one account, but it is not. There is an online service that let's you view your finances broken down into individual balances for your mortgage, loans, savings and current account money. There is even a budgeting tool and an account management tool that lets you work with your money.

Investigate it. Check it out. Check out the questions page to see if this option is the best for you. It might help you from loosing your home. For sure, it will shrink the amount of interest you are paying on your mortgage loan.

My Online Tool Box

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

My only direct encounter with contractors was many years ago. I was the building facility manager of a group home still under construction and to get myself aquainted I would put on my work boots with my power suit and walk among the site and the crew. I was in charge so it was something I had to do. It was a little scary at first but eventually the men there got used to me being around. I learned to look for flaws and imperfections. It all worked out. That was my first and last time being responsible for a construction crew. I had to answer to the corporate bosses in Boston. They had entrusted with with one million dollars to get the place built.

I do not know if anything like this was available back then...and that was in the late 1980's, but there is something now called MyOnlineToolBox. It is something designed by contractors for contractors that really serves as a resource to managing work. It is service designed for small to mid-sized repair and remodeling contractors that allows them to share job information with customers, contractors and find job leads. You can even receive payments online. In the age of techonology, this sort of resource was just a natural thing to emerge.

The service is not free. You sign up and there is a small monthly fee for the services you receive. It can really help expand your business by tracking job requests, estimates, customers, schedules, and invoices. This sounds like something that will really help the slighly unorganized. There is even a free trial if you want to test it out first. The company has been around since 2005 and is dedicated to providing a cost-effective method to contractors that will allow them to manage their business while being a valuable resource within the building community. What is this company doing? Connecting the home improvement and property service communities to get the job done!

all ARE Evil, First

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

I was telling a friend of mine about the situation with my car…that happened last week and posted a few posts back...how a co-worker hit my car and then is now denying she did the damages. He said I was just too innocent. He said I was viewing the world the wrong way. I tend to look at people as good and okay until something happens or there is something glaring that hits you right away. All are good until something happens in my eyes.

He said that I could save myself a lot of disappointment if I viewed the world as he did. He says he views all people as evil and they stay that way until they do something good. I think that it would be very hard for me to switch my thinking to that... that all people are evil until they prove themselves good. I think you might miss out on a lot of good things in people if you do that. You might miss opportunity for interaction that is good because you think all are bad. But that is the way he views the world.

I can tell and he has always seen the world that way. Kind of sad really. He and I are very different yet we get along. I do feel an indifference in him toward the world. Like the world does not matter until he says it does. I guess if you think all are evil first, then nothing would matter until you felt like it did.

I went out tonight in desperate need of a coffee from Starbucks. I went to Barnes and Noble. It was abouit 9:15pm. I just missed them. They closed at 9pm. I went to Books a million. They closed at 8:30. I went to the grocery store and looked at all the instant coffee. I picked something I had not tried in years. General Foods International Coffee in the Swiss Mocha flavor. When I was in college I lived on this coffee. The international flavors was all I ever bought. And of course I had to get some Pepperidge Farm cookies to go with the coffee. I am not set for the evening. I have my book by Stephen King , coffee, cookies...who could ask for anymore?

I am very new to Pay Per Post and really was skeptical about blog marketing. I did not know if this was a scam or something that would fall by the wayside. So far it has been a blessing. I have made $380.50 so far. I started blogging this way to really bring in some more income that was desperately needed for bills. This is like my part time job. I have several things that are pressing that the extra income will be used for. One is my credit card debt from all my Christmas shopping. Others are pressing bills.

The money is being saved right now. Maybe in the summer when some of my debt is gone, I will be able to have a little fun with it. Right now I am just so very grateful that Pay Per Post is out there and is something I am a part of. The benefits are priceless. It is a way that will help me out of a tight spot in the next few months. I do love Pay Per Post. Like I said earlier, it is a blessing. To be able to have a part time job that I can do at home in my spare time with my very busy schedule is really a great position to be in. I can work late night or even very early in the morning before I go to work. I plan be a postie for as long as I can because I had been contemplating getting a second job. I do not know how I would have done that. I tried Pay Per Post on a whim and boy has it worked out!

Are we so consumed with ourselves that we cannot check on our neighbors. This is a sad story. It is even more sad that he had no family or neighbor or friend to check on him. It is amazing that he still had electricity. Where I am if you are a few days late, you will come home to a dark house and there is not any way to turn it back on till the next day. Maybe with his condition there was some sort of arrangemnt for people with medical conditions. That is available where I am. The current will not be turned off if you have some sort of medical condition. I am concerned that I will be alone with my cats. I hope that this is not my fate.

Police called to a Long Island man's house discovered the mummified remains of the resident, dead for more than a year, sitting in front of a blaring television set.

The 70-year-old Hampton Bays, New York, resident, identified as Vincenzo Ricardo, appeared to have died of natural causes. Police said on Saturday his body was discovered on Thursday when they went to the house to investigate a report of a burst water pipe.

"You could see his face. He still had hair on his head," Newsday quoted morgue assistant Jeff Bacchus as saying. The home's low humidity had preserved the body.

Officials could not explain why the electricity had not been turned off, considering Ricardo had not been heard from since December 2005.

Neighbors said when they had not seen Ricardo, who was diabetic and had been blind for years, they assumed he was in the hospital or a long-term care facility.

Rumors!

It is a rumor no longer. It is the cold hard truth! There will be excitement in the big news that is coming soon to be announced by Pay Per Post. It is all about me! Me and my blogs. They will be awarding a secret prize to a new postie in need! That secret prize goes to me. The secret prize will be a video camera for a new postie who does not have one so that those opps with videos can be taken.

I got an email from one of the staff as to why I never took any video opps. Well, I did not have a video camera. I have a digital but no video. So I was excluded. I looked at those opps longingly and will dissappointment that I had no camera. Way out of my budget right now, so after reviewing posts for quality and consistency, it was decided that a secret prize would be awarded. A video camera to the hodgepodger!

Oh yeah! Go hodgepodger it's your birthday. Go hodgepodger it's your birthday. Oh yeah baby! So, in about a week, a nice digital video camera will be coming my way in the mail! I can't wait. I am thrilled to be the lucky one to be choosen. It is an honor! Such a gift to a new postie will go a long way. And if I am not mistaken, there may be other secret prizes in the future from time to time to new posties who may be in need. Thanks Pay Per Post! I love you! That money for the camera will not go to waste!

Yep! That's my story and I'm sticking to it! :)

Right now I am reading Lisey's Story by Stephen King. I love all things Stephen King. I have most of his novels in hardback. When I was in 20's I cold only afford paperback so I had them all in paperback. Now I have just about replaced them all and bought them in hardback. Now I am running out of room. I have so many books that do not have cabinet space left. I will either have to pack some up or get more shelving just foor books. The thing is do I have the room for more shelving. No. But I had to give up books. I like to re read. I wait about 5 years and re-read books again this time finding new details I missed the first time. So far this book is really good and very interesting. I mean it is Stephen King. What else would it be?

The Ultimate Gift

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

"The only way you can truly get more out of life for yourself is to give part of yourself away.” That is the basis of the movie, "The Ultimate Gift." It is a movie starring Academy Award nominee Abigail Breslin, James Garner, Ali Hillis, Drew Fuller and Brian Dennehy that will be in movies theatres near you on March 9th. This is the official site of the movie "The Ultimate Gift" and the grass-roots movement its starting to help charities and give to others. Check it out as it might jut make a difference in your life.

The book was written by Jim Stovall several years ago. Jim Stovall has been a national champion Olympic weightlifter, a successful investment broker and entrepreneur. He is Co-Founder and President of the Narrative Televison Network, which makes movies and television accessible for our nation's 13 million blind and visually impaired people and their families. This movie has already had over 300 screenings that has resulted in over $5 million dollars being donated to charities around the world.

The Ultimate Gift takes the reader through the main character's (Jason) incredible work to gain his Uncle Red’s inheritance through a series of challenges. Every step of the way, there is a lesson for Jason and the reader. It’s a 12-month quest for purpose and meaning. It is all about sharing the gifts we have with others. It is also about love. Love for our families and others and how we can be a light in the world.

The weekend the movie opens, one dollar from each ticket sale will be donated to your charity of choice, thanks to the Fox Film Fund.
Century Fox saw something in this movie powerful enough to put it into its theaters. Clearly it is not one of the multimillion dollar blockbusters but it is a heartfelt, values-oriented movie. We need movies like this with all the things that lead us astray in todays world. Commercial things, money, porn, violence, gangs. We all need a movie like this to make us take our own journey of self-discovery. We need to look at what is important in our lives: money or happiness. "The only way you can truly get more out of life for yourself is to give part of yourself away.” Think about that.

Why? 4 Times

Why is it that people cannot accept responsibility for their actions? Today I go to pick my mother up for church. We are supposed to be there at 9:45 am for sunday school. I get there at 9:40. We could have made it on time as the churchis about 5 mintues away. I go to the house and she does not come out. I have to do it and she had lost her bible and cannot find it. She has another and has it but cannot find the lesson book for class. We will be late now. We are. We get to sunday school about 10 minutes late. The class has started and about a little ways into it the instructor makes a remark about... see what you miss when you are late... I do not think much of that or anything really. He is lucky we are there at all. The think that bothers me is when he says that my mother reaches over and taps me on the arm. Like I made us late....I did not move a muslce. I just ignore it. It was inappropriate so I ignored it. Later we get to church and she again makes a comment that we cannot be late. I told her I was on time. We could have made it. She then said that I could not blame being late on her, I was late. I ignored it. I just let it go. But she was wrong. She lied in church and right before GOD. He will take care of that so I let it go. But it bothers me. People do not take responsiblity for their actions. They like to blame them on others. That bothers me. We will let this one go....but others... watchout. I will only let you do that for so long.

Patriotic Posters

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

That day I was at work, just like any other day. I was sitting at my desk working at my computer. The big boss secretary-- Linda, came walking over very quickly to me and said that a plane had just flown into one of the towers of the World Trade Center. She is a jokester anyway so I did not believe her. She was always saying all sorts of crazy things! What she was saying was just too fantastic and crazy. Just too unbelieveable. She said she was just in the breakroom and saw it on the tv so she ran to tell me. Yeah! Right!
"Linda, get out of here, you crazy girl!"

That is what I said to her. She said that she was not joking. "A plane just flew into the WTC tower."

I really looked at her and saw that she was serious. She again said that a plane had flown into one of the towers in New York. I got up and went to the breakroom and the tv was on. Linda did not follow me. She was busy telling others the same thing she told me.

There was noone in the break room but me at that time. I saw the first tower in ruins, smoke, fire, the news channels had cut into every morning tv show. I was in total shock and disbelief. More and more employees came into the breakroom and we all watched in silence. We all saw the 2nd plane hit the 2nd tower. We all just stood around looking. We did not know what to say or what to do. Some left the breakroom to call their family members who were at home.

I was numb. I was not in New York, but something inside me knew that things would not be the same. How could that happen? When I look at this poster, one of many patriotic posters, it brings back memories of that day. I see those towers that are no more. The poster is beautiful and at the link in the line above, you can find it and all things patriotic and read, white and blue. They even have vintage americana, replicas of historic documents like the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence, among others. They even have magnets as well. Check them out. You might just find something moving, like the one pictured above.

Why? 3 Times

Again why? I have a sibling who lives about 2 states away. Since the funeral he has only been home about once. There is not help for me or a respite. Right now it is only me taking care of my mother. I know that girls are the "caretakers." Why? That is not what I need right now in my life. I feel like I can barely take care of myself. I have some work to do on me, let alone take on
another dependent. There is nothing I can do. I have no escape, no close sibling in the same town to help. It is just me. The other day when I was taking about my highball high, I was just totally overwhelmed that day. I feel better today but I feel that is just a temporary feeling. When I finally get moved into my mothers house, the walls will close in. The benefit is that I can get into my car and go. Take a drive. Even check into a hotel for the night if I need too. I know that the weekend trip will become a staple. I will have to go out alot. Just to maintain my sanity. Friends will be ever so critical.

Keepsakes

Snapshots In My Time...

When I look around my parents house I see their entier life in "things." My father died on December 22, 2006 and today was his birthday. He would have been 76 today. I see all sorts of things in the house that he made or repaired. He was very handy and could make just about anything whether it was wood or mechanical. My mother has lots of things that she had bought for special ocasions in her life. Like the grandfather clock for her retirement, the anniversary clock--her month long trip to Europe. All sorts of things. They bought a large crystal chandelier many years ago that is above the formal dining room table. It is a thing of beauty. I know it was not remotely close to anything in the Discount Chandeliers catagory. She paid a mint for it.

At the end of a life the only thing left is "things." Things tell the story. It is just that in this life we all have, some have the ability to buy nicer things that others can. It is just your lot in life.

I checked out Premier Chandelier lighting and they have some nice things at all price ranges. I looked for something similar to what my mother has and did not find anything that was really similar. I did find some unique things there. Like the ones that have droplets/spires. They are neat. They even have a wide selection of Wall Sconces. When you make a purchase over $100.00, shipping is free. That is a savings. As far as the selection, they work with an extensive number of suppliers from all over the world making it possible to offer a wide range of products. With 25 years of experience in home and business lighting , a brighter atmosphere does await you when you choose their products.

Let ANNA Go!

Snapshots In My Time...

Thank god she is finally going to be put into the ground. It is a terrible thing what is going on with her and her body. At least she will be with her son. That mother..she seems like a golddigger. She has been estranged from Anna for all those years and all of a sudden she is going to jump into the picture. Money will make you do crazy things.

Custody of the body of former centerfold Anna Nicole Smith was awarded Thursday to the guardian for her 5-month-old daughter, Dannielynn, by Broward Circuit Judge Larry Seidlin.

Seidlin directed the guardian -- Richard Milstein -- to consult with Howard K. Stern, Smith's partner and lawyer at the time of her death; Larry Birkhead, Smith's former boyfriend; and Virgie Arthur, Smith's mother, about burial plans.

In a news conference, with Arthur standing by their side, Stern and Birkhead said Smith's body would be returned to the Bahamas and buried alongside that of her son, Daniel, who died of apparent drug-related causes last year.

"I'm very grateful that Anna Nicole's wishes are going to be carried out," Stern said.

Seidlin made no secret of his wishes: "I want her buried with her son in the Bahamas," he told a stunned courtroom. "I want them to be together."

Perper said Seidlin had asked him to accompany the body to the Bahamas to ensure the burial is carried out properly. Perper said he would comply.

In addition, the consulate for the Bahamas must approve any transfer by certifying that the body is free of infectious disease.

Until then, the body -- which Perper said is in "excellent condition" -- is to remain with the medical examiner's office.

It Is All About Wifi

Snapshots In My Time...

I have a friend who just bought a laptop about 2 months ago. She was afraid of getting rid of her AOL and felt like she had made a bad decision to get a laptop because she only used it plugged in. I told her to unplug and to try to use it in different areas of her home because surely she would hit a spot where it would pick up the wifi. She did and was so happy after that. Now I want a laptop. I have always wanted one. I am not sure what neighbor she is "borrowing" her wifi from or the provider. She just knows that is is free. I know that there is a way to secure it so that others cannot use it free. I guess her neighbors are not using that option.

If you do desire a secure wireless network, you may want to check out Cisco. Cisco combines the mobility and flexibility users want from a wireless network with the security and management they require from a wired network. I know my office uses laptops for the agents in the field and that means they have to have a good conenction all the time, in an instant. If you are a business looking for a complete data centre devoted to cost-effective wireless networks for businesses, then check out Cisco. They have an entire network of wireless products that may be of assistance.

I took off work knowing that my mother would have a hard day and that she wanted to go to the grave site. It was a very busy day. I went to her house at 9:30 and just got back about 30 minutes ago. It was a day filled with doctor appointments, banking, graves and reflection and bills. All the things that my father used to do for my mom, I have to do. She gets overwhelmed just with the daily or monthly bills. She said that it is too much and her life has changed. What does she think that means for me. It is exactly like I have a 2nd child. Life sure has it's ups and downs.

The Fireplace

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

My father passed away on December 22 leaving a very dependent mom on my hands. I am basically running her household and mine. Not fun. It was amazing the amount of things that my father did for her. My mom was truly a pampered woman who took all of that for granted. Now alot of the household things are left to me. This brings me to the fireplace. They have one that my father put in may years ago. He was very handy with his hands and made lots of things. He made a gorgeous fireplace with wonder wood panels. A few years ago, they had it changed over to gas. Now my father alwasy operated that fireplace. My mom was shown.. she said but she never really paid attention.

Now she cannot get it lit. She was able to figure it out once since his death. I have never been show how to use it. There are gas logs there as well as a little red button and a dial. I have done an internet search to try to figure out basic instructions of how to turn a gas fireplace on. Now I am very fearful of gas. I tried once last weekend, before I got instructions and we all began to smell gas. We got all frantic and opened the windows. I hope we can get it figured out without blowing up the house!

The online outlet store has a host of products devoted to fireplaces and gas logs. They even have vent free gas logs. I do believe that is what my parents have. They are better than wood logs because they eliminate the mess caused by soot and smoke. Gas logs come in options for a vented or ventless fireplace, the first looking more like a real wood fire, and the second a more efficient heating source. After looking at the site furthur, I think this looks like exactly what we have. If you are in the market for a new fireplace, then look around the site. They have just about all that you could possible want in the way of fireplaces and supplies to accompany it.

I saw this frame and of course it would be the one I would be drawn to. It was a beautiful wedding. I even cried. I get misty at all weddings. I remember my own with bittersweet memories. I wore the white dress I spent hours making and it was beautiful. I can sew pretty well. You cannot tell my clothes are made clothes. I even made a wedding veil. I ended up not wearing it even thought it was the thing I spent the most time wearing. Whenever I pull it out, it makes me cry...that I did not wear it. I still dream of my princess wedding. I did not have itbefore. I tried to make it as magical as possible but it was only my magic working one way. I finally flushed the ring I got married with down the toilet a few years ago. He did not even bother to buy me a new band. I know now that it was a band that went to a ring that belonged to some past girlfriend. It was a marriage made in hell. Only I was keeping hope alive.

The Pay Per Post wedding looked magical. The groom seemed to have a knot of his forehead. I wonder if he fell down. There was a girl at the front of the church who had a large tattoo of something on her arm that took up her entire forearm. I wonder what that was. Elvis! HE was great. What Ls Veas weddind is not complete without Elvis. I wish the couple a very happy life. they look happy and that is half the battle. To be happy each day about your circumstances and who you are with. This was my favorite video. Even thought it ws a part of a reality show you can still relate. It is real people who just filmed their wedding. Not quite like Survivor of some of the other reality shows that are edited for ratings or what would make good tv.

I wish all the posties much success in making that business a success. It is all about Pay Per Post! In the words of Austin Powers...YEAH, BABY!

High Ball High

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

Today was such a bad day I had to resort to having a drink tonight. Ginger ale and Canadian Club. Nothing beats that smooth taste. I have not had canadian club in about 5 years. Maybe 8. I went to Costoco and got a bottle. You know at Costoco everything is the industrial size. This bottle had a handle and some sort of plastic pour spout, it is sooooo large. I have had three highballs and am currently feeling no pain. The cares of the day are fading temporarily and I feel happy and as light as a cloud. Now tomorrow may be a different thing. I most likely will have a headache and will curse myself thinking: what was I thinking drinking canadian club...you have not had a drink like that in 6 -8 years! Right now that does not matter. I think I will be going for number four. Then I will stop, go upstairs and turn on the dvd adn watch the 2nd season of the X-Files and go to sleep.

Those Crazy Cell Phones

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

My father and mother have a cell phone that my father kept up with. My mother now has it and it is a thorn in her side. She does not see the benefit of even keeping it anymore. Ithink she needs to have it inthe event of an emergency. It was in my father's name and he passed away on December22, 2006. Well, I took my mother last week to get a new phone. to trade in the old one as it is really dated. I had her convinced she was ready for a new phone with lots of Cingular upgrades. She really does need a new phone.

We drive to the phone store and try to do that very thing. We can't because the phone is in my father's name and we did not think that we had to bring a copy of the death certificate to turn in that phone and stop service on it. We left without getting it changed over, but we will try again this week. We will turn in that phone and get serivce in my mom's name and get her a new phone. Life sure can be complicated. Who would have thought all that was necessary for a phone...to turn the service off and turn it in.

Now with Wirefly, you can get free phones with a new contact or when you are extending an contact via renewal. You can even get free accessories. They seem to have all the lastest models from the razors to the crackberries. My mom will just be getting a basic phone. She would not beneft from having all that fancy stuff. For a woman in her 70's, all that fancy gadgetry is a deterent. Wirefly.com is the leading online retailer of wireless phones and service plans, offering more carriers, plans and phones than anybody else, at the guaranteed lowest prices. I was thinking of getting a fmaily plan with her, btu I think it best she have a separate plan and I get a family plan for just my child and I. Why? Just in case she decides she really wants to get rid of the phone.

Be sure to check out all that Wirefly has. They are even having a three day sale! Who can pass up a sale! You won't be sorry you did!

A Weepy Kind of Day

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

A Weepy Kind of Day. That is what today was. Weepy. At lunch. I finally had to break down and give up my home. I am moving in with my mother. She needs the help and is not really an independent person. It killed me to give up my lease today. It felt like I was giving up a big part of my life. My freedom, my way of living. I just have to live the way I have and my mother can just get over it. I have to begin the process of packing. I have until March 11th. I wonder about the cat. Not only am I giving up my home and freedom, but my cat will have to go back to the shelter where she was adopted from. My mom is allergic to cats. I can't keep her. I hae had her for so long that that alone is enough to do me in. It will be like giving a child away.

Big Money Opps

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

Pay Per Post is the way to go. There is a new system in place for high traffic blogs. You get the opportunity to have sponsored posts that are worth more. More money, more money , more money! Getting paid to blog is something that I am sure glad I decided to check out. It is for REAL! I was skeptical at first but it is the real deal. My blog is just fair as far as traffic, but I am on the road to increasing traffic. I want to take advantage of those higher paying posts! You could make $1000 for a single sponsored post.

As far as blog marketing goes, Pay Per Post is the best option out there. PPP only charges a 35% service fee compared to ReviewMe that charges a 100% markup. You are literally giving about one half of your money away. That is not good. If you take the time to write up a good post, you should reap the benefits. Pay Per Post is the best option for blogs with low volume as well as high. It is a good thing all around. Now you see that little button below? You do have to have full disclosure when you are posting a blog entry that is paid. So each post has to have a disclosure button like the one below or a link to your own disclosure policy for you blog.

I feel bad about evne calling in a claim but if I don;t and it begins to rust in that spot, I will be the one who did not do the right thing. I think I will think about it tonight and let her know in the morning. She has just left and now I think that we should have. Well we can do all of that in the morning.

Canadian Love

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

I love Canada. Whenever I am in Canada I am always so pleasantly surprised at how different it seems from some cities in the states. The last actual flight I took there was in 1999. I do not recall how long it took me to fly, but it seemed like a long time. It was hours, I know. The Flights to Canada were pretty roomy. I do remember that. I remember going through customs and finally I was in Toronto. That is my favorite city there.

I did see the falls. I love going there. It is not all about the water becasue Niagara Falls and its cities and towns cater to an impressive range of visitors, including golfers, campers, hikers, bikers, business travellers, tourists, thrill-seekers, wine lovers and art buffs. I love being a touist there. Dialaflight can take you were you want to go, so check out all the reasonabley price flights they have going all over the world. They have been in the business for 25 years and pride themselves on an experienced sales staff who are all well-travelled and committed to creating your perfect trip – at bargain prices.

Why is it that at least once a week, there is a flyer for a chinese restaruant attached to my front door knob? It gets on my last nerve! Why is it that at least once a week, I get in the mail in a sealed envelope a menu from a chinese restaurant? And it is not the one leaving the thing onthe door. That makes me even madder! Why is it that on monday the boss likes to start the day with an email that the entire unit she manages is not doing what we should as far as the numbers? I am in agreement with what one of my co-workers said this morning: someone must have spit in her cereal this morning. Why is it that no matter what I do, my child is grumpy and has such a bad attitude right now, day after day? I do not know if I can contribute it all on the deather of my father. Why is it that she always waits till the last minute to work on her projects, always getting me invovled? I would be rich for every time I got a penny for advising her not to do that. Why is it that crazy men always seen to latch on to good women? There is a slightly coocoo man at church who has taken a liking to a good friend of mine and is driving her crazy. Why? Why do all of these odd things happen again and again? Why? The world is driving me crazy!

Music Makes Me Happy

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

Music tends to make me happy. When I have had a bad day, I can put on some Regina Carter and all is suddenly right in the world. I tend to be eclectic with my musical tastes. I like just about everything except for country and Bluegrass Artists. Why? The music is so sad. You know...my wife left, the dog bit me and now I am living in my broken down pick up truck? How sad is that? Way too sad for me. I like a little happier, peppier tune. I tend to stick with classical, new age and jazz. That is about it.

Now if you check out the link for Bluegrass Artists, you will find a whole list of different music styles to choose from. All the artists are unsigned, so they are all hoping to make it big. You might just find a new favorite artist there. Unsigned.com is the new voice for independent Artists looking for the chance to be discovered! For bands and solo artists, Unsigned.com provides you with an outlet to be heard by an ever-growing fan and listener base. As an artist or as a listener, all can sign up. Once you do and begin to search and listen, you can even create playlists to keep for later. Check it out. It might be a way to get some original, creative music that will or might not be heard any where else. Happy Listening!

It Stalks the Night

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

It stalks the night
It stalks the day
It seeks out life
And whisks it away
It's known as death
And other things too
But it's all the same
What matters is you.
How do you see it?
What does it mean?
It's best if you know
For death is unseen.
It can take you at day
It can take you at night
Knowing death well
Can lend you some light
The passage to death
Is always unclear
And it's best to know
That you're very near.
For death is at hand
It is for us all
Know it's face well
So you don't stumble and fall
Now think hard on death
And know that it's near
And the meaning of life
Will be all to clear
And that is to live
For your hearts desire
Not to stumble or fall
But to burn with a fire.
A fire for life
To live for each day
To reach for your dreams
No matter what people say
Life is a question
And death holds a clue
Reach not for the answer
For your life's not due
Live for the moment
And die for it too
For it's the moment that counts
It, and you
Now I'm all done
I've said what I'll say
Just remember one thing
Live for the day!

Tasers Verses Guns

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

I heard a blurb about this on the news and had to look it up. This is the story of a man who was mentally handicapped who was trying to hold up a convience store with a plastic knife. He was clearly not knowing what he was doing. The police knew who he was and what his condition was like as this man in know in the area for his diablility. He was pepper sprayed and shot multiple times when he had already surrendered or was subdued. He did not need to be killed. It was a case of the police overboard once again.

Trial is set in Charleston Tuesday in a ten million dollar federal wrongful death lawsuit alleging North Charleston police used excessive force when a 41-year-old mentally ill man was shot and killed.

Asberry Wylder was suspected of shoplifting when he was shot in 2003.

Prosecutors said the shooting was justified because Wylder was armed, tried to stab an officer and refused police demands to drop his weapons.

Wylder's mother, Julia Gregory, contends her son's constitutional rights were violated because police fired on someone with known mental problems.

The suit names North Charleston Police Chief Jon Zumalt as well as the city and various other law enforcement officers.

The last thing I heard was the case was dismissed. That is a shame. His family should have been awarded the 10 million, I think. I have also heard a few horror stories involving those Taser Stun Guns. They are deadly if you are old or have a heart problem. I had heard of a lot of people dying from being hit by those. And the police are overusing them as well. I think that they would be good for self protection. I would actually like one for my purse.

That reminds me of a friend of mine who actually has guns. He went through the normal process to gets them and goes to the range at least twice a month for practice. He has encouraged me to get a weapon. He says he would take me to the range and teach me. I just am resistant to that. A taser in the purse seems like it would be more ME than a handgun. I just don't know. I guess I will have to really think about that.

Britney Spears: Bald and Crazy!

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

Intervention? Failed! Failed with a capital "F." Britney is so out of control it is ridiculous. From all of her crotch shots to now a big, bald head. Where are the kids when all of these things are going on? Are they with the nanny? Even before the bald head there was this blurb in the news. She went out in a litle red dress, did not not like what she had on (I wonder wyy..it looks three sizes too small) so she calls over strippers, the epitomy of couture, and trades clothes with them. She leaves, oh so much more stylish than when she came in. They took her downstairs to their dressing room and she changed out of her red dress and returned wearing a dancer bikini and a white busboy jacket and "that's what she walked out wearing."

Then she takes the scissors to her own head when the stylist refused to cut off her hair. She took matters into her own hands. She just does not know what to do with herself. It seems her family tried to get her into rehab. She stayed one day and was like, SEACREST OUT!

On Friday night in California, the singer was filmed and photographed as she arrived at a Los Angeles tattooist's parlour and had her wrist tattooed. As she did so, 60 onlookers gathered outside and stared through the window of the shop in Sherman Oaks, at her sheared head, shocked at the contrast with her one-time image as an angelic teenage star.

I think the only person who can pull off the bald headed look is Demi Moore. She looked kind of good bald. Britney's head had a kid of a green glow with black stubbies. Yuck! Plus she has a lumpy skull. Look closely on the right side of her head near the ear and temple. Lumps!

Bulgaria

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

I have never been but it seems like an intersting place to go. Bulgaria is a picturesque small country that has existed for more than 13 centuries in Europe, linking East and West. Bulgaria remembers ancient civilisations and great people that wrote its turbulent history. Situated in Southeastern Europe, Bulgaria occupies the northeastern part of the Balkan Peninsula.

The Bulgarian lands have rich and most diverse cultural heritage. Inhabited since prehistoric times, they keep lasting traces from different ages with rich traditions. Their location on a crossroads explains the intertwining, mixing, the mutual influences of the culture, mores, and religions of tribes and peoples, having lived and crisscrossed the region. Getting in touch with the thousands of cultural messages, bequeathed to us by those living before us is very exciting indeed. Invaluable is the cultural and historical heritage of ancient Thracians, Greeks, Romans, of generations of Bulgarians leaving through their achievements intriguing and useful information about their lifestyle, traditions and their spiritual enlightenment.

Things are happening in Bulgaria. This month Bulgaria has just been accepted into the EU which will be a huge boost for the country. Bulgaria is a former communist country on the way up. There are a lot of beautiful tourist spots in Bulgaria. From the beach to skiiing, that country has it all. There is also property in Bulgaria for sale. You can really make a home there if you wanted to. Check out BulgarianVenture. There are experts who can assist you with home buying and real estate there. Piano Jazz

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

I love listening to Piano Jazz. It is like a breath of fresh air. Born Margaret Marian Turner in Windsor, England, the host of Piano Jazz began to teach herself Chopin waltzes on the piano by ear when she was only three years old. Marian later pursued classical training at London's Guildhall School of Music before joining a four-piano vaudeville act that traveled throughout Europe during World War II entertaining the Allied troops. Jazz legend Marian McPartland continues to showcase the world's top musicians on NPR's longest-running and most widely carried jazz program, Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz.

In addition to hosting Piano Jazz, Marian maintains a busy schedule, recording, touring, lecturing and teaching year-round. She is deeply committed to music education in the country's public schools and was inducted in the International Association of Jazz Education Hall of Fame in 1986. She has received honorary degrees from Hamilton, Union, and Bates Colleges, Bowling Green University, and the University of South Carolina.

Her books include The Artistry of Marian McPartland, a collection of transcriptions released by Columbia Pictures Publications, and All in Good Time, jazz profiles published by the Oxford University Press. In 1983, Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz received a George Foster Peabody Award for excellence in broadcasting.

In 2001, the long list of honors bestowed upon Marian and the show added a "Gracie" -- the Gracie Allen Award given annually by American Women in Radio and Television -- and the National Music Council's American Eagle Award.

I heard her in the last 6 months play a song from her CD called Silent Pool. This was the most relaxing song I have ever heard. I think that I will end up getting that cd as well.

The Bling Bling

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

About 3 years ago, after a yelling match on the phone with my boyfriend he asked me what I wanted for christmas. I told him. A piece of jewelry. He told me to go to the store and pick out something I liked and let him know what store to go to and cost and size. So I did just that. I went to Zales at the mall and found a beautiful cocktail ring. On sale. I got the sale price, got a business card with the sku number on it and gave the card to him. He told me he would just go pick it up for me. What could go wrong with that plan? I even picked out 2 rings, one a little less money than the first so that if one was not in his budget, the other would. How perfect was that? The ring I picked out were both 1 carat diamond weight. One was $715 on sale and the other was about $500 on sale.

He began to hesitate about getting the ring. I got mad. The ring was to be a gift. He had already told me he was getting it so why was the problem now? Finally I told him that the ring was supposed to be a gift and a gift has no conditions attached. In the end he got me the ring but the feeling I had about it was not the same. Never the less, I wear it daily and I just love the sparkle. It is not an Engagement Rings. It is just a pretty ring. If you are in the market for a nice ring , please check out engagement rings. Diamonds USA has all sorts of rings for every occasion. Engagement rings, especially diamond engagement rings, are a universal symbol for eternal love. I love rings. Snapshots In My Time...

Special days come and special days go. They just pass me by. That is what happened on Valentine's Day for the past 8 years at least. Now the thing about it is that I have a friend whose mother sends flowers to her daughter so that she will not be the only one not having flowers. It was just another day.

Now I should have checked out
BELISI on Valentine's that is IF I had signficant other! Look at how much money is spent on making your honey feel special! It is ridiculous. I would be happy with some flowers and a walk on the beach. Maybe a nice piece of jewlery every now and then.
According to the National Retail Federation (NRF) American's dished out a staggering $13.7 billion last year on Valentine's Day, with the average lovebug shelling out $100.89 total last year.
Now some of the ideas that Belisis is recommending I have recommended to some of my friends who were trying to do different things for their spouses. I got all the ideas to give to others, but never have the chance to implement them myself. After checking out the list of ideas, I must say I am all about the pajamas, the jewlerly, the wine and the love letter. You know people do not write much anymore. It is all about email.

When was the last time you got a love letter? I must have been in high school when I got my last one. I still have it. It is from my old finace. We had had a fight and he wrote me a letter to try to get back together. Valentine's Day. for me it is fleeting and elusive. Cupid's arrows just sail right over my head and into other people's hearts. Next year I plan to wear a tee-shirt with a large rd target. He won't be able to miss me. And cupid had better tell him about Belisis on Valentines. You know men, they will need some help with gift selection.

Girl you know it's true! There will be a movie about Milli Vanilli. I did like their music. It sounded good. Disgraced pop duo Milli Vanilli will soon get a movie made about their less-than-spectacular career, following in the cinematic steps of such icons as Ray Charles and Johnny Cash.

Hollywood trade paper Daily Variety reported in its Thursday issue that Universal Pictures is developing a film about the lip-synching combo, who lost their coveted Grammy for best new artist in 1990 when it emerged that they had never sung on their records.

They sold so many records it was incredible. They sold selling 30 million singles and 11 million albums. They were cute too. Now the braids seemed a little too long at times, but it worked for them. It worked.

The Opposite of Love

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

What is the opposite of love? Well, for most of my life I used to think it was hate. It is not. Hate invokes feelings and actions and definiteness of feeling and thought. Hate is not the opposite of love. It took me awhile to realize it but I was watching a tv show. I can't remember what one, but they were talking about the opposite of love and it was not hate. It was indifference.

Indifference is the opposite of love. When I heard that I began to think about my past husband and all the hell he put me through. He just did not seem to care. That bothered me so and it was because he did not love me. He was indifferent and all of a sudden it made the relationship that much more awful. He never loved me. I took his moodiness as attitude not realizing it was indifference. He could barely stand me. He did not hate me. That would require some effort.

Indifference requires no effort at all. You simply are not in that person's psychee at all. You don't exist. You are not worth the effort to get mad at or fight with or show some emotion to. The opposite of love is not hate. The opposite of love is indifference.

Howard and Beth Sitting in a Tree...

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

K-I-S-S-I-N-G!

Howard Stern once worried on the air that a marriage to longtime girlfriend Beth Ostrosky would only mess up a good thing. It seems he's willing to take the risk. Stern announced on his satellite radio show on Wednesday that he had proposed the evening before -- and Ostrosky had said yes. Stern told listeners that he surprised the model with an engagement ring while they were naked in bed.
"Are you for real?" he said she responded.
It's a turnaround for the media maverick, who launched his satellite radio show last year with comments that he was happy to leave things as they were.” I am not married," Stern said then. "It's a nice feeling that we get along great. We're very happy, and I don't want to (mess) it up."
Congrats to Howard! I never thought he would take the plunge again. He declared so oftenthat he would never do that again. Howard, is the man. I really do like Howard Stern.

Poor Anna

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

Like James Brown who has not been buried yet due to familybickering, it has begun with Anna Nicole Smith as well. I saw on the news where she will not be buried and the judge is claiming her body is his until be can determine the DNA of the baby. It is a sad world. I think they should just get the DNA to prove the baby is hers and who the father is and then let the poor woman be buried in the Bahamas next to her son. Just get the sample and be done with it.

With at least three people bickering over the fate of Anna Nicole Smith's remains, a Florida judge stepped in to argue that he has the final say.

"This body belongs to me right now," Circuit Judge Larry Seidlin said Wednesday during an emergency hearing. Another hearing is scheduled for Thursday.

Smith's longtime companion Howard K. Stern and her estranged mother, Vergie Arthur, each hope to win control of the body. Photographer Larry Birkhead, who claims to have fathered the former centerfold's 5-month-old daughter, Dannielynn, hopes DNA taken from Smith will prove his case.

The judge said the dispute could be lengthy. "We're going to have hearings - as many hearings as we need," Seidlin said. "This is just a warm-up."

I knw that mother would begin to show her true colors. Now she wants the baby. I just saw her on one of the morning news shows last week in an interview saying that she did not want the baby, now she does. She has not had anything to do with Anna in all these years, so why begin now. Anna left a will and her last wishes should be honored. Howard K. Stern is the executor. Let him bury her. Get the DNA first but let the poor woman go home.

Now Anna was a beautiful woman. At times she looked trashy but overall when she was dressed up she looked good and with her taking on the persona of Marilyn Monroe, she definitely stood out. She was enhanced of course. She looked like she had a monstrous boob job but a lot of those starlets have done that. My mother told me that she saw a blurb on the news that Anna had had surgery just before she died to repair some damage to her augmentation. Maybe that is why she had the fever? May be she got an infection?

I feel that if she had died of an overdose that would have been all over the news already. Don't you agree? Anna would have been torn apart for that by now. I do see some augmentation by women to be ok, but to get those monstrous melons is not so good. Go for the natural look in that department. Augmentation can dramatically improve the appearance of a woman's breasts, enhancing the size and improving the shape to create a fuller and entirely natural look. Natural is good. Looking like a mannequin? Not so good.

There are doctors and clinics all over the world who can do augmentation. Court House Clinic is just one of many. I do think that when we begin to change how we look we need to really think a long time and consult and be sure that the end result will be what we want. It seems that too many of the Hollywwod starlets do not look natural anymore. They are going for the more dramatic effects as far as cosmetic surgery. Dramatic is not always good.

I just hope that Anna was not killed by some complication due to her implants. I have been looking on line to see if I could see anything about what my mom said she saw but so far, I have not seen a news blurb about her surgery and any sort of possible complications. Poor Anna Nicole. It was a shame what happened to her. It seemed that she was just about to get a new start.

Cash Only Please

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

No cash, no pocketbookie! That is what I used to tell myself. Back in 1993 I used to work part time in the tourist section of my town selling good in an open air market. Now the owner of the shop was too lazy or rather too cheap to take credit cards. The tourists would come and have to have cash or no pocketbookie! I was tired of always telling people that we had no way to take a credit card.

I remember asking about them getting a merchant account, but it was something for future. I guess they wanted a cash and carry business. If only Advantage Processors had been around then, it would have made a world of difference to me. I was running the place for them. Advantage Processors, Credit Card Processing and Merchant Account Services is a leading provider for low-cost online internet credit card processing merchant accounts for both Low Risk and High Risk merchants. They also have competitive pricing and low credit card transaction rates.

I worked for them about 8 months. It has been years since I have been to that part of town. I heard that they have an actual store now. I know they have to be able to run a credit card now. They had to have contacted someone in regards to a merchant account. Now after establishing that, there is a guarantee. You are not just hung out to dry. You get assistance when you need it and can even have a money back guarantee if you are not really happy with the services. So, no more cash only. Please!

The Day the Birds Began to Mate

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

What is all the fuss about Valentines Day?
The Europeans also believed that on February 14th the birds began to choose their mates. In fact Chaucer, in his "Parlement of Foules," wrote: "For this was Seynt Valentine's Day when every foul cometh ther to choose his mate."

John Donne wrote:
hail Bishop Valentine! whose day this is;
All the air is thy diocese,
And all the chirping choristers
And other birds are thy parishioners:
Thou marryest ever year
The lyric lark and the grave whispering dove;
The sparrow that neglects his life for love,
The household bird with the red stomarcher;
Celebrations
Thous mak'st the blackbird speed as soon,
As doth the goldfinch or the halcyon . . .
This day more cheerfully than ever shine,
This day which might inflame thyself, old Valentine!

The Christian tradition of drawing names on St. Valentine's Eve continued in England and other places. The tradition of birds choosing their mates on St. Valentine's Day led to the idea that boys and girls would do the same. Now when a youth drew a girl's name, he wore it on his sleeve, and attended and protected her during the following year. This made the girl his valentine and they exchanged love tokens throughout the year. Later this was changed to only men giving love tokens to females, usually without names but signed "with St. Valentine's Love."

Later, in France, both sexes drew from the valentine box. A booked called Travels in England, written in 1698, gives an account of the way it was done:

On St. Valentine's Eve an equal number of Maids and Bachelors get together, each writes their true or some feigned name upon separate billets, which they roll up and draw by way of lots, the Maids taking the Men's billets, and the Men the Maids'; so that each of the young Men lights upon a Girl that he calls his Valentine, and each of the Girls upon a young Man which she calls hers. By this means each has two Valentines--but the Man sticks faster to the Valentine that is fallen to him than to the Valentine to whom he is fallen. Fortune having thus divided the company into so many couples, the valentines give balls and treats to their mistresses, wear their billets several days upon their bosoms or sleeves, and this little sport ofen ends in Love. This ceremony is practised differently in different Countries, and according to the freedom or severity of Madame Valentine. This is another kind of Valentine, which is the first young Man or Woman chance throws in your way in the street, or elsewhere . . .

St. Valentine's Day was mentioned by Shakespeare. The poet, Drayton, wrote verses entitled "To His Valentine," in which he expressed the idea of the birds' mating on St. Valentine's Day.

      Each little bird this tide
      Doth choose her beloved peer,
      Which constantly abide
      In wedlock all the year.

Beyonce on Sports Illustrated

Snapshots In My Time...
Of My Time.....Hauntings.

Well, well, well. Beyonce is the first woman to be on the cover who is not an athlete. What is up with that? She is a beautiful, talented girl but I thing she is getting a bit over exposed. She may be getting ready to jump the shark in just a bit. Now I had no idea that she waas allowed to use the swim suits she designed for her clothing line: House of Dereon. Now some of the suits are cute but is Beyonce the model in every picutre? Is that why half of her face is cut off? So that we can't see that? Well I guess it will save some overhead that she is in every picture as the model. You know you would think that a pair of two of her items would trickle down our way via the discount stores like TJ MAXX or Marshalls, but so far nothing. I wonder who is really buying that stuff?
