The Photograph of the Year Contest is here! Now! Anyone can enter. The prize? There are $14,000 in cool prizes to be awarded. Now, I do have a photoblog that I used to post to all the time. Work has taken up all of my time, so I have not posted a picture since halloween. I might just have to dust off the lens again with that much money in prizes to win. I will have to be fast! The last day to submit an entry is January 12th, 2007.
There is a list of rules to follow, but you have to enter in order to win. Just like the lottery! You actually have to play to win that as well. All pictures submitted will be displayed in the gallery for viewing and voting. Once a winner is chosen they will be notified by private message in the forums and then the winner has two weeks to contact the contest sponsor to claim their prize.
That seems like a quick contest. Unlike some where it is months later and you have to send in a self addressed stamped envelope and then you are mailed the winner names. Now I noticed something on the site that looks like a lot of fun! A photo challenge! Check that out! You know what? Move over, coming through! Out of the way people! I have to get to my camera quick! I have pictures to take!
This next picture is the photo of the month! Neat! I have some lovely water pictures I took in 2006. I will have to dig those out! This contest sounds fun, easy to enter and has lovely cash prizes! Be sure to enter you might just be a winner! Smile for the camera! You might just be in my picture!
