I have just tuned into the buzz about Technorati Favorites. I have read some posts for and against. To me, it is a good thing! Linking is good and returning the favor is even better. We are all trying to gain some quality links and readers for out blogs. Why else would we be doing it? It is easy to do and all our rankings will improve. This is how to get started:

When you find a site that’s listed on Technorati that you really like you can mark it as a favorite. The more Technorati members that mark you as a favorite site the better!

How to do this:

1) Claim you blog at Technorati - if you haven’t already.

2) Click this button to add The Hodgepodger as a favorite in Technorati:

Now, the next thing to know is that there is a program that will automatically let you favorite those who favorite you. It is s small program that you download to your computer, run the program once a week and it will find all those who have favorited you and will return the favor.
